About G.G. Gale

In the mid 1960’s, G.G. Gale, Jr. began his more than 40 year career in the land business while working for a developer in San Antonio, Texas.  His natural talents in the industry quickly gained him the respect of his employer as he was promoted to Sales Manager while continuing to play an integral part in the company’s advertising and land development needs.  During more than ten years with the Company, he was responsible for seven subdivisions with an accumulative acreage total of 6,700. 

G.G. Gale left his employment in the mid 1970’s to develop and market his own properties as well as properties for other individuals and companies.  His first development, Timberwood Park, would soon be the accomplishment for which his legacy would be built upon.  Today, this development remains one of the city’s most sought after places to call home.  If you happen to tune in to one of San Antonio’s radio stations during the weekend, you could possibly hear G.G. encouraging the people of San Antonio and nearby communities to “come to Timberwood Park where there’s more tree tops than roof tops.” 

Among G.G.’s list of superior acreage tracts is his newest development, appropriately named Serenity Oaks.  This project is located on the Guadalupe River in Comal County and is modeled after Timberwood Park.  These 1 to 3 acre tracts feature a beautiful recreational park with all the pleasures of waterfront living. 

In addition to his day to day duties, G.G. Gale would oversee the daily responsibilities of all his developments.  Accumulatively, G.G. has developed, marketed, and sold more than 14,000 acres ranging from Texas to Arkansas.

After his passing, the business and developments have remained in the family. His sons continue to run the businesses and carry on the family name, keeping the quality and integrity he was known for intact.
